All though I am not giving the news that I had hoped would come for us this month, there are still many, many things that I am thankful for.
~For my husband David, who stands by my side unconditionally on this roller coaster ride that we call our lives. Without him in my life, I don't know where I would be right now. He is my rock, and he truly is what keeps me getting out of bed in the morning.
~For my friends, who are always there to offer their love, support, and prayers. You all mean more to me then you know!
~My job, even though all the days aren't the best, it is MY job and more than many people have right now.
~My home, that keeps me warm on cold winter nights, and keep me dry through the storms of life.
~My family, that is not perfect, but we have all been through alot together, and we are all the people that we are because of it
~My pets who annoy the crap out of me at times =), but they are my "kids", and they need me as much as I need them.
~My freedom, and the military that fight for us every day! My cousin has returned from his third tour of Iraq, and I am so thankful that he has returned home safely.
~Love, that keeps me going on, and pulling through the bad times because I always know that even though there is pain and hurt, there is so much more love to give.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and takes the time to really focus on the things that you are thankful for in your life, because somewhere, someone else has it worse than you do and would do anything to trade with you.

Happy Ovulation Day!!
Those were the words that I heard today when the doctor walked in the exam room for my insemination. It was hard not to laugh at him because he truly did seem to be excited about it. Dr. Scheiber was running behind on his appointments, so Dr. Awadalla did the insemination, and I think that may have been for the better because he was in such a good mood that it put my mind at ease a little.
Post wash, we had a count of 14 million and 98% motility, so if we can get one of those guys to find and egg, I will be happy! The doctor said that everything looked good, and went well, so now we just wait and pray for our miracle.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the prayers, good vibes, thoughts, etc.. I appreciate each and every one of them! At this point we will wait, and let God do the rest, and if this is meant to be, it will find a way!

Not all rainy days are bad...
So we had our final ultrasound appointment this morning and things are right where they are supposed to be! I have to finish out my shots today and tomorrow and then take my trigger shot on Saturday night. Our appointment for insemination is set for Monday morning. If you could all keep us in your thoughts and prayers we would appreciate it! I will keep everyone as posted as I can!

Patience.....
I am ready to have a cycle where some sort of problem doesn't arrise.
I am ready to pee on a stick, and have the test be positive for the first time.
I am ready to have bloodwork done to confirm that I am actually pregnant.
I am ready to wake up to morning sickness, and sore boobs because it will mean that there is a life inside of me growing.
I am ready for an ultrasound to reveal a heartbeat, and not just follicles,
I am ready to feel my baby kick inside of me, (or hiccup--thanks Katie, it was awesome and something that I will never forget experiencing!).
I am ready to be uncomfortable and sleepless because it means my baby is growing inside of me.
I am ready to decorate a nursery and stop calling this room "an office".
I am ready to have my water break and feel the pains of labor because it will mean that I am getting closer.
I am ready to hold OUR baby in my arms, and know that everything that we have gone through, and all the tears that I have cried, were all worth it...because we just had to wait until our baby was ready.
I keep reminding myself to be patient ( as does everyone else), and I am trying my best. I just need a few things to go right once in a while to prove to me that good things can happen.....

Ready, Set......

So the appointment went well today. The left ovary was clear, and there was one small cyst on the right ovary, but he said it wasn't anything that would keep us from doing treatment this month.
I started my shots tonight, and will continue until I go back for more bloodwork and another ultrasound on Monday morning.Wish me luck!
